MJR focus for the week
BE A GO KART
Billy-Karts need a push start. Sometimes in life, you need to be pushed by parents, teachers or coaches. Go Karts do not need a push start. Being self-motivated to perform and able to motivate yourself to perform is being a Go Kart.

Principal's Mesage
Dear parents and guardians,
Today’s Gospel message looks upon the depth of our love for God and how well we express it. I shared with the students, at today’s assembly, the importance of following this message through our actions and with the people we meet every day. I also shared how important this love for God is in recognising the significance of National Reconciliation Week. This love for God is a time for all of us to learn about shared histories, cultures, and achievements and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
Students from our ELC to Year 6 have been engaged in various activities in recognition of National Reconciliation Week. This year we are asking everyone to make a change beginning with brave actions in their daily lives – where they live, work, play and socialise.
Website
As part of our review process within parent communication, we looked at recreating our school website. Over the course of the year, we looked at various components and sought feedback from within to create a site where parents can access correct, updated and informative information. Our new website can be found here. Please take the time to go through the website and feel free to let provide feedback via this survey.
Thank you
Mauricio Da Silva

Gateway
Hello! Fr. Pier here.
I pray you are well.
Every year we have parents of our Catholic schools students who choose to revive or explore their Catholic journey.
In the past we offered the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), which helps to understand the contents of our faith.
Something was missing: a space where people could deepen their personal relationship with Jesus and our community.
This space is essential: with a living relationship with Jesus, the Catholic journey is a joy. Without it, it is a chore.
People will gauge with their leaders when they are ready to move towards RCIA, which is more like headspace.
This year we started from this space of experience, which we called Gateway.
We have just started.
If you wish to deepen your journey or start it altogether, you are welcome – come with your personal story.
- What: Gateway. We share a meal, some insight, our experiences, and prayer.
- When: on Tuesdays at 6.30 pm
- Where: the presbytery, on the left of the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes.
